LG pediatric is seeking a Back office Medical Assistant (Full-time, 40 hours/week with ) to join our team in our Los Gatos location. We have been in south bay for more than 3 decades. We provide high quality medical care with a personal touch. This special candidate will present with at least 1 year of medical office experience in a busy medical office. The ideal candidate should be warm and positive in nature, people oriented and have a calm and reassuring manner, good organization skills and multitasker, comfortable working and communicating with children and their parents. Works as a team member to create a warm and nurturing medical home for children from newborn to teens.

Daily duties and responsibility include but are not limited to following:

Answer phones as needed and triage appropriately
Room in the patients, check vitals ,
Identify immunization records, prep records before physical exams
Administer vaccines to children ranged from newborn through teens effectively and document vaccine records.
Check vaccine stock and medical supplies and order as needed
Perform routine office tests, UA, Strep , Rapid flu, vision, hearing screen
Process referrals and arrange specialist or test appointments
Follow up with patients messages and emails. Relay test or x-ray results and present those results to physicians
Assist front desk with phone calls and filings
Provide patient education.
Stock rooms and prep rooms for visits
Assistant physician for procedures and treatments
