Medical Assistant
You are the face of Marque Urgent Care and the person that gives the 5-star patient experience. Job Duties Include:
- Initiate the 5-star patient experience by rooming patients, assisting physicians with examinations, procedures, and carrying out orders as directed
- Proactively and frequently communicate with patients and family members throughout their visit
- Educate patients on services offered at Marque Urgent Care
- Restocking exam room supplies, cleaning room areas, and instruments
- Ability and willingness to perform front desk duties if needed: answering phones, verifying insurance, checking-in patients, and inputting patient information into our EMR
Ideal Candidate Has:
- Outgoing personality, professional manner, and the ability to be calm under pressure
- Strong computer skills
- Great references that can attest to your customer service and bedside manner
- Current California MA license
Preferred:
- Bilingual
- Experience working in an urgent care
