Job title: Marketing Manager (Graphics Designer) and Executive Administrative Assistant
Full Time- a management position
California, work Remotely with minimal office visits- Outside California will consider a full-time remote worker based on capabilities and the discipline to work independently.
Experience working using Illustrator and being a good communicator is a MUST
Hours: Full time weekly Monday - Friday, some hour flexibility will be available
OUT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA- must be able to work normal California Business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM PST or 9 AM to 6 PM
Start-up period: For the first ninety days this engagement will be as an independent contractor manager, with all employee bonus plans and benefits. As an independent contractor, this manager will be open to working in excess of 40 hours per week, with bonus rewards. After ninety days, the company will have the option to bring this engagement into the business as a fulltime salaried W2 manager.
Twenty-year-old publishing/advertising company expanding, seeks a Marketing Manager and Executive Assistant.
Skills: marketing/sales, graphics design, website enhancement, advertising and capable to assist the owner with administrative tasks. Knowledgeable in illustrator is imperative and photoshop.
Phone calls are required to follow up on a timely basis Sponsors to complete ads on a timely basis. A good phone personality and friendliness is important quality we seek in this role. Some selling will enhance earnings.
In addition, direct report to the CEO as an executive assistant to provide company and sales team support with marketing, event planning, reports, analysis, and other duties as assigned. One that has a marketing background can enhance the role.
Maintenance and upgrades to our website will be under this department. Creativity is a must and good follow-up and communication with the CEO daily are essential. Technical experience is desired.
This Marketing Manager and, Executive Administrative Assistant pays $30,000 per year this includes program bonuses, in addition revenue sales bonus plans monthly, quarterly, and annually. Based on current production a $300 monthly bonus has been the average for January and February 2023. Expectations, yet at risk, to remain $300 per month to $600 per month if current projections are maintained. This can add $3,600 to $5,000 to the base pay, not including monthly bonus opportunities.
As part of the Management Team, all bonus programs will be defined upfront at start date and revised January 1, each year.
Incentive plan opportunities can increase income significantly each year. The expectation for year one would be $35,000 if the company meets objectives, with an upside to make more. Year two would increase all end earnings over $40,000 if company goals are exceeded. If you have never worked for a company incentive-driven this might be a refreshing organization to join, when the company thrives all employees thrive. Those that embrace sales can enhance income directed toward the Marketing and Executive Assistant with no cap.
The business can be fast-paced, programs are published on deadlines, one must be reliable and able to work under a timeline routine. In addition, there will be some evening or weekend work, as needed. Off hour work should not be significant.
We sell program ads. We support worthy charities in Southern California. For the Sponsors without artwork, it will be the Marketing Manager’s job to create an ad that will assist the Sponsor with his company branding.
Currently, due to the pandemic, the company works from a home office and remote sales sites.
