Line Cooks at Parkwest Casinos ensure guest satisfaction by preparing high quality menu items. The Line Cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry station and other areas of the kitchen. A successful Line Cook will be able to read and execute recipes on a consistent basis. As a Line Cook you must demonstrate a strong knowledge of all stations and kitchen equipment. In addition, all Parkwest Casino team members are expected to provide excellent customer service to our valued guests.

Performance Objectives:

1. Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes within parameters and within 30 days of employment.

2. Ability to finish all assigned duties in a day along with daily cleaning and maintenance.

3. Must be able to take direction and be flexible.

4. Must possess excellent knife skills.

5. Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef at any time.

6. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

7. Ability to work with others as a team player in a small confined space.

8. Ability to promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications.
