The Windlass, a lakefront restaurant, is seeking driven, hardworking, and dedicated individuals to join our team! Must have weekend and occasional holiday availability. Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Basic kitchen duties such as making sauces, dressings, preparing vegetables for salads and sandwiches, assisting all stations with any prep needs. Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation. Must have ability to lift 50+lbs, endure standing for long periods of time, work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task.
Fry: In charge of stock and prep of fry side. Must be comfortable using a deep fryer. Multitasking a must.
Sauté: Duties include cleaning meats and seafood for station, stocking and prepping meats, seafood, vegetable, and sauces for station. Maintaining a neat and sanitary station, cooking multiple items in a fast-paced work environment.
Grill: Duties include preparing all vegetables, bread, sauces, and meats. Must be able to cook meat to desired temps. Maintaining a neat and sanitary workstation, multitasking, working in a fast-paced environment.
