The Swimming Swan is hiring full-time, seasonal lifeguards swim instructors to work at the Palo Alto Elks Lodge community pool. No experience necessary! We’re looking for people who love being outdoors, learning lifesaving skills, and working with a team and their community.
DETAILS
Seasonal Full-Time: Memorial Day - Labor Day 2023
Pool Hours: 7:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 7 days a week
Duties: lifeguarding pool area teaching group swim lessons to students ages 2+
Pay: $21 (LG only); $22 (LG and swim instructor)
We offer 50% reimbursement on all certification courses for new hires.
$300 Bonus: qualify with a full season of work (Summer 2023)
QUALIFICATIONS
Ages 15+
Ability to complete pass an ARC or equivalent Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certifications
Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills test
Ability to pass a swim and in-water skills test when applicable
All applicants are subject to background screenings and (when applicable) drug testing
Strong customer service background preferred
We are an E-Verify participating employer. Upon hire, applicants may be subject to a background check and/or drug test per facility requirements.
