Watson Community Health Centre provides community-based services to families. We evaluate the needs of children, adolescents, and adults to develop a plan to provide that care for the well-being of our clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, mentoring, and support to individuals and families
- Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change
- Supervise and monitor client progress, ensuring compliance with treatment goals
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social service agencies, to coordinate care and services
- Assist clients in accessing resources and services, such as Medicare, Section 8 housing, and childcare
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their needs are met within the community

Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Previous experience working in child welfare, workforce development, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to social work practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in documentation and record keeping

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

 

Schedule: Flexible schedule 20-30 hours per week
