Many of the traditional methods of treating mental health are broken. At South Jersey Coping Clinic, we are on a mission to go beyond medicating mental illness but nurture holistic healing for the whole person.
We are searching for Licensed Counselors and Social Workers who are ready to feel valued, appreciated and heard to partner with us in our mission to create change and be leaders in the therapy industry. To be successful in this role, you will:
Develop, recommend, and review treatment goals and plans with clients
Support clients in developing skills and behaviors necessary to thrive and live more fully.
Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their progress
Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups
Encourage clients to discuss their emotions and experiences
Help clients process their reactions and adjust to difficult changes in their life, such as divorce, anxiety, depression, the impact of coronavirus, and other life alternating circumstances.
Guide clients through the process of making decisions about their future
Provide an open and nonjudgmental environment to help clients navigate effectively through their experiences.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey who has no restrictions to practice with their license
At least 3-5 years post Master's experience.
Be fully licensed LCSW or LPC
Work up to 40 hours a week.
Be ready to ally with a diversity of clients including veterans, LGBTQ+ community, and minority communities
Have experience providing treatment for traditional and progressive issues including anxiety, depression, family challenges, relationship struggles, dual diagnosis, racial issues, and identity challenges and more
Can hit the ground running
Be comfortable working in a smaller office
