The Children�s Den in Merrimack NH is now hiring for a creative and nurturing Lead and Assistant teachers. Our school is new and therefore we are looking to grow our talented team! We are seeking individuals with experience guiding a busy classroom of little learners to join us.
Candidates will:
*Be able to develop and implement a play-based curriculum based on each child�s individual needs and interests.
*Create a warm, safe, positive and fun environment where exploration and individuality is encouraged.
*Have the ability to build strong parent partnerships and work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.
Required Skills:
*A love of children and a desire to make a difference each and every day!
*Meet NH Childcare Licensing Standards for Associate (9 credits in ECE) or Lead Teacher (18 credits in ECE). Preference will be given to those with degrees and prior teaching experience but we are willing to train the right candidate. Early Childhood Education students are also encouraged to apply!
*Understanding of NH Early Learning Standards and the ability to apply them.
*Ability to build relationships with families to create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand in hand!
*Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
*Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, and work indoors or outdoors year 'round. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
*CPR and First Aid training (or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire)

Early Childhood Toddler & Preschool Teacher
The Children�s Den is a nature based early learning center that is looking for a few amazing people to join our team. The Children�s Den is currently seeking an associate level - teacher for our infant & toddler room team. There are 20-40 hour a week positions! There are full or/and part time afternoon positions. Qualified individuals must be energetic and experienced, with a strong knowledge of child development We are seeking a caring and nurturing teacher with good communication skills and a high level of professionalism as well as the ability to work as a team
