Job Description Landscape Install Crew:

Do you love working outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, and helping to transform the ordinary into extraordinary? If you enjoy working with a great team and are wanting to continue your career in landscaping at a company that values work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we would love to talk with you!

As a BLD Install Crewmember, you will be working on site daily at your assigned project learning best practices on how to build beautiful landscapes. Your foreman will be assigning you tasks each day that you will be responsible for completing in an efficient manner. It is important that you have good communication with your foreman, take direction well, and ask questions if you don’t understand how to do something.

Daily tasks could include demolition, grading, planting, trenching, laying sod, stonework etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the tools and equipment you are using.

You need to be able to get to the job site on time each day and produce at least 40 hours of work each week during the spring, summer, and fall. Snow removal work in the winter is also available.

- Responsibility: When using BLD tools and equipment, do so with caution, responsibility, and respect. Care, cleaning and organizing of tools must be done at the end of each day.

- Respect: Keep the job site clean and be respectful of homeowners.

Experience and Skills Needed Prior to Start:

- Must have at least 6 months of previous landscaping experience
- Must be able to follow direction and have good communication skills
- Must have ability to safely work with gas powered equipment
- Drivers must have a clean driving record
- Drivers must be able to drive company truck with attached trailer to various job locations
- Must be responsible, and show initiative
- Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy objects of 20 pounds to 80 pounds
- Stand and walk for long periods of time and work in all weather conditions
- Experienced smartphone user
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus


License/Certification

- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (required)

Pay: $18-$20 per hour with experience. Monthly and end of year bonus opportunities.
