Civil Engineer
Our marine construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and be part of our growing company. Our firm primarily constructs commercial projects in and around the New Jersey waterfront, both fresh and saltwater, and constructs foundation structures state wide. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the office and field engineering, e.g. analyze photographs, drawings and maps to assist in planning logistics, create designs that utilize a variety of materials for temporary support structures, templates, formwork and support excavation. Communicate with team members, customers and vendors to ensure material needs are met on time and on budget, inspect project sites prior to bidding and after to ensure our plans for executing the work will be most efficient. Perform material take off and pricing for bids and work on hand. Track/execute submittals, RFI's, material purchases, extra work orders, etc. This is an entry level position, Basic requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineering, construction experience a plus, a PE license is a plus, a working knowledge of AutoCad at a minimum, Excel, Word, Microsoft Office.
