Almega Wealth Management is seeking a Jr. Financial Advisor for its Scottsdale, Arizona office location.

 

Almega Wealth Management is a fee-only fiduciary Registered Investment Advisor with offices in Scottsdale AZ, Greenville KY, Mount Air NC, and Raleigh NC. We take a holistic approach to wealth management, which includes investment management, advanced planning, and relationship management. Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of a Jr. Financial Advisor will be to prepare preliminary analysis reports for prospective clients, prepare investment plan proposals, prepare wealth management plans, and prepare advanced financial plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within our financial planning software and CRM software.

 

The Jr. Financial Advisor will also be expected to develop their own book of business organically and from leads provided by Almega Wealth Management. Additionally, the Jr. Financial Advisor will provide support to Almega Wealth Management client service team and solicitors.

Some travel out of state may be required.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Financial Planning, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, or equivalent experience. 75% completion of either CFP or ChFC coursework would be considered equivalent experience.
  • Experience with eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, NaviPlan, Right Capital, or Elements financial planning software. Preference will be given for experience with Right Capital.
  • Series 65 or 66, or waiver qualification (i.e., CFP) with clean U4.  Or ability to obtain Series 65 within 60 days of employment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Valid Driver License
  • Background check and drug test required.

 

Preference Items

  • Applicants with an existing book of business that is transferrable to Almega Wealth Management.
  • Experience using Right Capital
  • Experience with CEG Worldwide
  • Experience using Advyzon

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation will be a combination of Salary ($36,000 Base), Revenue Sharing, and Quarterly Bonus.
