Instructional Aide

Employee is a Christian who fully supports the Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement of ICS and performs in such a way as to fulfill the school mission statement. Employee is an active church member in good standing at a local Christian church. Cooperates with the staff and administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the operation of the school. The employee is always a positive representation of ICS, and a positive role model to students and parents. 

An Instructional Assistant (IA) assists the Main Teacher in helping to teach students the various subjects. This can take place, either in a small group setting or assisting students 1:1. The Instructional Assistant (IA) may also be required to help correct and organize student work and materials.  Ideally the IA would be a college student who is interested in becoming a Teacher or pursuing a full time position in working with students.  The IA must be capable of handling different behaviors and learning styles.  They must be patient, kind, great attitude and willingness to serve.
