Installation Crew Member
Our Installation Crew Members are responsible for a wide variety of landscaping and maintenance activities under the supervision of the Installation Manager. These responsibilities may include planting/installation of Bamboo, pruning, operating hand tools as well as small and large equipment. Leadership responsibilities & duties may be given to Crew Member to assist in guiding projects/Customer jobs to completion in a professional & timely manner. All of these activities/duties may be performed in combination of on the grounds of Bamboo Giant Nursery and/or Customer Location.
** Must have current and legal Driver’s License. Must be legal to work in the U.S. and have transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities:
• Installation, Removal, and Maintenance of Customer Bamboo plants. This could fall into Residential and/or Commercial Clients.
Learning the different Bamboo species, inventory & holding matt locations, and inspecting/maintaining/repairing irrigation points for all the plants we offer.
• Making sure all plants on the Bamboo Giant property are being watered daily following the "Irrigation Schedule" and Sprinkler Timer efficiency plan. This includes Retail Showroom Planter Boxes and Planter Islands in the Parking Lot Retail area.
• Creation/Propagation of new plants.
• Plant splitting for health and creation of inventory.
• Plant moving & relocation & rotation for optimum health.
• Hand-picking plant species for Customer orders.
• Digging out plants and properly potting for Nursery Dig List and/or Customer orders..
• Building of Customer Pressure Treated or Redwood Planter Boxes to Spec as directed.
• Performing consistent maintenance on all inventory holding mats & showrooms as directed.
