FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Garden City Monument is a 102-year-old family run business. We are currently looking for a full Monument Manufacturer. We are looking for an individual with prior stone cutting, polishing, sandblasting skills. However, if you have similar craftsmanship skills and are willing to learn, you are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

·         Learn all aspects of production, cleaning, shipping, and setting monuments

·         Hand cutting designs and lettering to granite. Apply stencils and weeding the designs to prep for monuments for sandblasting.

·         Sandblasting monuments and washing them as well

·         Use of different types of hand tools.

·         Checking monuments for flaws or defects and repairing monuments for shipping or setting

·         Use of forklift to move monuments

·         Setting Monuments in cemeteries

·         Moving stock.

·         Proofread orders, ensuring accuracy.

·         Must be detail oriented

·         Overtime to be expected during peak season.

Physical Demands:

·         Delivery and installments of monuments to various locations within Montana.

·         Extensive time sitting or standing in the same position.

·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type:

·         Full Time

·         Starting $18.00 per hour depending on experience
