Veterinary Assistant
Harmony Animal Hospital is looking for a lasting relationship with an experienced veterinary assistant. Responsibilities:
-Use your enthusiastic, positive personality every day to function as a vital member of a veterinary team
-Exercise compassion and care in all interactions with patients
-Strive to create a positive environment for all patients through low stress and Fear Free handling
-Follow established procedures in assisting veterinarians and technicians with examinations and facilitating the flow of patients and clients in exam rooms
-Answer and triage phone calls from clients
-Schedule appointments and procedures
-Perform duties that include but are not limited to cleaning and stocking exam/ treatment rooms, performing laser therapy appointments, and running in house lab machines
-Maintain accurate paperless records using our veterinary software, Vetter
-Attend monthly departmental and staff meetings
