Doggie Daycare Attendant
Woof Central, a premiere Doggie Daycare, Grooming and Boarding facility in Richfield, MN is adding staff to our incredible team. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning all aspects of our business which includes dog handling, boarding, assisting groomers w/ bathing along with front desk reception.
Located just off Crosstown Hwy 62 & Penn Ave S, we are serious when it comes to the care of our customer’s pets. Therefore, for the right candidates we provide an extensive training program that teaches the skills needed to recognize and interpret dog language and trains you with the tools we use for the safe management of a large group of dogs in a playgroup environment.
If you are interested in a career with animals and people, are reliable, punctual and want to be on a winning team, then we want to talk with you. Our facility is well ventilated and disinfected daily. We can't think of a safer environment to work given impact of the pandemic.
Experience with large groups of dogs helpful, but not required.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have no physical impairments that would prevent you from lifting up to 50lbs, cleaning playroom equipment, picking up after dogs or being on your feet for long periods of time. This is not a seasonal or short term position. We hope to find staff members who would like to learn the industry and move forward in a career.
We run a variety of 6-8hr shifts and are looking for candidates that are available Monday through Friday from 7am to 1pm and/or 1pm to 7pm. There will be weekend shifts as well. Being available for all shifts will be an advantage. Working short shifts on Holidays will also be required.
Pay range begins at $14.00 and advances to $17+ based on the completion of our training program and leveling up. You will also earn customer tips each pay period which increases your total for a higher hourly wage.
Health care benefits available for FT employees successfully completing 1st level training after 90 day probationary period. A company matched 401K retirement program also available for FT employees.
