Donalds Construction is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Operator. As a key member of our company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, addressing inquiries, and providing support to clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and accurate information about construction projects, services, and company policies.
  2. Communication Liaison: Coordinate and facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of concerns.
  3. Manage Incoming Calls and Emails: Handle a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and other communications professionally and efficiently, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude at all times.
  4. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints using the company's CRM or other designated systems.
  5. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating complex problems to appropriate departments or management when necessary.
  6. Product and Service Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Donalds Construction's services, offerings, and project details to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as sales, project management, and finance to ensure a cohesive and efficient customer service experience.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback to improve customer service processes, tools, and overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or related role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for customer management and communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
