We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist customers on the phone or at the front counter. Our CSRs serve a valuable role in our utility by providing a positive first impression through friendly and courteous service while performing efficient and accurate transactions.

This position qualifies for a 3% bilingual pay differential for qualified Spanish speakers.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING HERE?

  • Front-line customer service.
  • Assist utility customers by phone and in person regarding changes in service, billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and other utility services.
  • Handle cash with confidence.
  • Listen to our customer’s concerns and show empathy while resolving their issue.
  • Perform work in one of four responsibility areas: cash, service orders, billing, or credit.
  • Work is 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday.

ACCELERATED ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM

MW&L offers an accelerated advancement program, where a CSR can obtain additional step advancements through the accomplishment of competency modules. QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience.
  • One year of experience using MS Office Suite software (Word, Excel) in an office environment.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education may be qualifying.

Special Requirements

  • Type 40 WPM.
  • Pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education is desirable.
  • Spanish skills are desirable.
