Reports to: Plant Manager
Position Summary:
The Customer Care team member will provide excellent service to our external customers. This role is perfect for someone who likes to keep busy, problem solve, stay challenged and think creatively.
Customer Care/Order Processing Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone inquiries, proper resolution of customer issues
- Check voice mail daily and regularly during the day – respond to calls or refer as appropriate
- Respond to email, live chat and walk-in inquiries
- Track customer inquiries via FedEx and UPS as needed
- Assist customers with orders, product and website questions
- Serve as order expert, keeping current on all inventory and order trends; maintain inventory reports daily.
- Process all daily orders including but not limited to Drop Ships, Direct to Consumer, Wholesale and Walk-Ins
- Create and maintain order processing procedures.
- Act as the company liaison to partners submitting orders.
- Special projects (TBD) as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience with customer relations or related field
- Excellent technical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Must be a fast learner, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, analytical skills, and ability to work independently and on team.
- High level of oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with internal and external persons
- Must perform duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
