Our client, Anderson Construction, a thriving commercial contractor based in Camarillo, CA, is looking for an organized and curious Construction Project Coordinator with a construction management degree and foundational knowledge in construction management or demonstrated experience supporting project managers and assisting with their extensive portfolio of client projects. This is a full-time, in-office position, with an established company and reliable name. As our ideal candidate, you have notable project coordinating experience in the commercial construction industry. Anderson Construction provides services to highly successful commercial clients in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

This position requires knowledge and capability to manage incoming bids, creating & logging RFI�s, and submittal and bulletins independently. At times, it may require meeting with subcontractors and suppliers, so the ability to work interdepartmentally is fundamental. What you�ll do as a Construction Project Coordinator:

� Collaborate with project coordinators & managers and VP of Operations to develop and execute plans
� Monitor project goals and activities and identify any problems
� Organize and accurately update plans, documents, and sets for project managers and superintendents
� Generate, process, and log RFI�s, submittals, and bulletins
� Assist with receiving sub quotes on bid day
� Solicit pricing and schedules from sub-trades
� Maintain Outlook contacts database

As our ideal Construction Project Coordinator, you bring:
� 3 � 5 years of construction project coordinator experience working with project managers and superintendents
� Degree in Construction Management or similar field (optional)
� Working knowledge of MS Office � Excel, Word, Outlook
� Understanding of project budgets, cost planning, and ability to use your best judgment to cut costs
� Expertise with reviewing proposals, RFIs, and tracking submittals
� Outstanding organizational and time management skills
� The ability to work collaboratively between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
� Emotional intelligence and communication skills; enjoyable to work with
� Flexibility and adaptability, ability to prioritize tasks
