Compliance Coordinator

New Method Wellness is a dual diagnosis treatment center located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator to work Full Time Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Pay is based upon experience.

Experience in compliance is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to pass a UA and background check, and if in personal recovery a minimum of 1 year of sobriety is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities: The position is designed to provide an organized approach to the development and revision of policies, procedures, forms, and survey readiness. The position requires familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards, substance abuse treatment care policy and procedures. Support the succinct collaboration and partnership amongst staff and management by being proactive, accurate, openly sharing information, bridging gaps, maximizing efficiencies, improving communication, following process and procedure, thus continuously improving service levels. Maintains accurate, organized and efficient records of all files as required. Self-directed with positive interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interface with staff and management. Conduct must reflect company values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct ethics and compliance program. Acts with honesty and integrity.

Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a substance abuse treatment environment. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in regulatory compliance or organizational performance improvement preferred. Working knowledge of regulations such as The Joint Commission; development and revision of policies and procedures preferred. Ability to focus on the details and help with service delivery process. Can manage high level and/or complex situations. Must have excellent skills in verbal communication as well as good organization and time management skills. Must be customer service oriented with a professional attitude. Must have familiarity and competency with the computer (i.e., emails, client data entry, etc.).
