Job description

Immediate opening for a Highly Motivated Service Advisor / Project Manager experienced in working with clients and managing staff. Understanding of computers and a good command of the English language a must.

Flexible hours. This position does not require previous experience in classic cars but we need a Project Manager to have excellent mechanical aptitude- no previous experience in "Classics" required, but previous experience as a Mechanic/Technician Highly Welcome. Our Project manager will oversee our staff as they Fabricate, Repair, Diagnose, Tear-down, Restore & Assemble of small, medium, and large Classic Car projects. We are Always busy Year Round. Our shop is Clean, comfortable, well lit, heated & air conditioned. What's better is we have no waiting room - No customers waiting!

We are an independent, family owned shop specializing in Classic Cars. With 25 years in business, our clean shop boasts of more than 10,000 Square feet, we are very busy All Year, and are always packed to the walls with projects. Work with our well mannered office staff to support our Techs. The jobs are interesting and constantly varied. Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Mechanics
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Schedule and assign work "ROs" to technicians based on their skillset and workload
- Monitor technician performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
- Promote a clean and safe workplace
- Collaborate with others to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, tires, and other automotive systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide clear explanations of repair recommendations
- Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide your team
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, and paperwork
- Able to pass along good information to the Project Manager's research assistant and parts department to efficiently recieve parts in a timely manner.
