Acheson Auto Works is a 76-year old family-owned car repair business. We are presently searching for just the right person to become our new Administrative Assistant and Public Representative. With this position comes a great deal of responsibility as nearly all business coming into our facility will funnel through this person. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting our clients, answering phones, prepping documents for incoming work, scheduling customers, simple data entry and working closely with our service center and body shop managers. Past office management and automotive experience will be helpful. This is a dynamic position so you can expect frequent interruptions and simultaneous occurrences, so it's important you are well organized, function well under pressure, possess superlative attention-to-detail skills and are able to resume the tasks at hand and complete them thoroughly and accurately. Please be clean-cut with a professional appearance and demeanor. And, of course, we'd like you to be dependable, reliable, accountable and on time and present at work each and every day. As mentioned earlier, at times we are quite hectic which is fun but can also be overwhelming so successful applicants must be able to remain cool and collected in high-pressure situations and pick up where you left off. Our work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
