General position summary:
This position will report to the Accounting Manager and assist the department by working on Log Accounting and Accounting projects.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
� Log Accounting for numerous forest management clients and properties. Administrative involvement from the start of a timber sale to the conclusion, including coordination with log scaling bureaus, precise data entry of each timber harvest transaction, oversee and ensure accurate payment is issued to all parties involved. Prior Log Accounting experience is helpful, but not required.
� Publish internal Accounting reports in Excel.
� Assist other accounting functions as needed, which could include assisting A/P, A/R, or project-specific activities to support billing and contract requirements.

Job Skills:
� Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
� A good understanding of Excel required.
� Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
� Excellent written and oral communication.
� Enthusiastic, energetic, team-oriented individual.

Job Conditions:
� Our employees work remotely. Our headquarters is in downtown Portland, Oregon and is open for workers as needed. The job requires: physical ability to operate a telephone and computer, sit for extended periods of time, and occasionally, the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Education and/or Experience:
� High school diploma required.
� Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
� 0-3 years� experience in Accounting.
� Prior Log Accounting experience a plus.
� Experience with LIMS and/or CT3 software a plus.
� Experience in a professional services firm a plus.
� Entry-level accounting skills in computerized accounting systems a plus.
