Warehouse Associate
Burchard Galleries, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and energetic warehouse associate to pack, load, move, and exhibit valuable items for our gallery. Essential Functions and Duties:
Tag, Wrap, pack, and load items onto the truck at the consignor’s home and transport them to the gallery to then unload, unpack items, and prep to be photographed and displayed in the showroom or inventoried in the warehouse as instructed by Warehouse Manager. For auction weekends (once a month), showing the individual items to bidders. Assist with the delivery of sold items to customers, requiring the same care mentioned above. Inspections of trucks and equipment before and after use including truck and trailer interiors for straps, packing boxes, pads, and blankets as well as walk boards. Perform work at the warehouse and gallery as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, pass a background check, have a high school diploma or GED, communicate effectively, have professional customer service skills, able to lift at least 1/3 of your body weight, handle indoor and outdoor working conditions, weekend work, must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while preserving the condition of the items being handled.
Benefits: Pay $14-$16/hour plus OT. Health and Dental insurance are offered. Seven paid holidays a year. Employee discount.
