The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and computer knowledge. Must have knowledge in graphic design software either CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. Must be able to work full-time on-site M-F 9-5. Please do not apply if this is not operable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
  • Create compelling and effective logos, designs, for print and vinyl cutting
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reads work order to determine type of decoration, colors, size of garments, quantities and location of design.
  • Set up proofs correctly & send to customers for approval.
  • Follow timely communications of approval to meet scheduled dates.
  • Set up jobs after approval for cut, print, and production.
  • Manage supplies needed for upcoming orders.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answer phones and help answer customer questions.
  • Help with front desk customers
  • Help with print production

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
  • Portfolio of work

Language Ability: 

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Spanish is a plus.

Math Ability: 

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: 

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
