Job Title: Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech
Location: Falmouth, MA
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks, Temp to Perm)
Shift: Rotating Shifts (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM / 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM / Some 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours (Every Other Weekend, Occasional Holidays)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech for an exciting travel or local job in Falmouth, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and ultrasound imaging procedures as per physician orders
• Select appropriate transducers (type and frequency) for examinations
• Position patients and use immobilization devices for optimal imaging
• Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy
• Assist physicians during special procedures such as needle biopsies
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
• Address patient concerns to ensure cooperation and comfort
• Monitor patient safety during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate radiology records and properly label all images
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology)
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active Massachusetts State License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak)
