GeoSearch is actively seeking a Survey Project Manager in Woodinville, WA.


As a Survey Project Manager, you will lead diverse land survey projects across Western Washington, from boundary and topographic surveys to ALTA/NSPS surveys and construction support. You will be accountable for technical excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction while providing clear direction to field and office teams. This role blends strong technical expertise with proactive leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver high-quality results that strengthen client relationships and grow the business. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review boundary analysis, mapping, and topographic survey calculations to ensure defensible, high‑quality deliverables 
  • Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and change control 
  • Lead quality control efforts for survey deliverables, including plats, ALTA surveys, design mapping, and construction staking calculations 
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and support proposal efforts to grow existing client relationships 
  • Prepare proposals and collaborate with technical teams to define project approaches 
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and direction to field and office staff 
  • Coordinate with the Geomatics Group and Delivery Leaders to align staffing and project needs 
  • Ensure adherence to our firmwide processes for contracting, project accounting, and quality standards 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring responsiveness and delivery excellence 
  • Proactively collaborate with engineers, planners, and other disciplines to support integrated project delivery 
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and career development of survey staff 
  • Act as a client‑facing, revenue‑accountable, culture‑driving leader 



Required Qualifications:

  • Active Washington Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, or the ability to obtain licensure within one year 
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in land surveying 
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and mentoring survey staff 
  • Strong client communication skills with a high level of attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Trimble Business Center software 
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and experience reviewing engineering plans
