Reid & Associates is working with an independent, community-focused hospital in the Pacific Northwest. We are conducting a confidential search for a Manager of Health Information & Coding. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced HIM professional to step into a role where your expertise will directly strengthen compliance, coding accuracy, and operational excellence.

The Opportunity
  • Lead and develop a hybrid team of on-site HIM staff and remote coders.
    • Oversee chart completion, Release of Information (ROI), compliance, and documentation improvement.
    • Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize workflows in Epic EHR.
    • Play a vital role in enhancing revenue cycle performance and organizational compliance.
    • Influence hospital-wide initiatives in a setting that values innovation, independence, and community impact.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • **Independent & Nimble:** Decisions are made locally, not by a large system — giving you the freedom to make a true impact.
    • **Modern Facilities:** Recently upgraded operating rooms and expanding service lines.
    • **Lifestyle:** Live in a beautiful mountain community known for safety, strong schools, and a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy year-round hiking, skiing, camping, and fishing right in your backyard.
    • **Access Without the Hustle:** Within driving distance of Boise, Tri-Cities, and Walla Walla — close enough for city conveniences, but far enough to enjoy the pace and charm of small-town living.
    • **Culture:** Join a collaborative leadership team that empowers managers to lead, innovate, and succeed.
Ideal Candidate
  • RHIA or RHIT credential required; AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required.
    • 3+ years of HIM experience, 3+ years coding, 3+ years healthcare leadership.
    • Proven ability to manage and motivate hybrid/remote teams.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of Epic EHR preferred.
