Responsibilities:

• Dietary Supervisor: Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring that all food service activities are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of dietary aides, cooks, and other food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.

• Develop and Implement Menu Plans: Design and implement menu plans that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents, complying with all relevant food safety and nutrition regulations.

• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans that address resident dietary needs and preferences.

• Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dietary department, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

• Manage Inventory and Supplies: Administer inventory and supply management, ensuring that all food and beverage items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated.

• Clinical Nutrition Support: Provide support and guidance to residents, family members, and healthcare staff on dietary matters, including nutritional counseling and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Dietary Supervisor with a minimum of 1 years of experience in a skilled nursing healthcare setting.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

• Knowledge of Nutrition and Food Service Standards: Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing food service in healthcare settings.

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
