Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: South Brooklyn, NY

Position Type: Contract (Night Shift)

Shift & Schedule:

• 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Night Shift

Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,200–$2,242.50/week

• Travel: $2,900–$2,932/week

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to complex patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.

• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes.

• Administer medications and manage ventilators and other critical care equipment.

• Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols.

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher

• Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care nursing experience

• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
