Specter Aerospace is building the next generation of hypersonic vehicles forU.S. Forces and Allies. Specter is headquarteredjust north of Bostonin Peabody, MAwhere itleveragesits advanced propulsion technologies, manufacturing, and testing capabilities to rapidly develop supersonic and hypersonic systems. Funded by a mix of government R&D organizationsand private funding, Specterisexpanding its team in preparation for flight testing and full-scale production.

Our co-ops work closely with experienced engineers and scientists to complete projects that are critical to the mission of the company.

Role Responsibilities

• Support development of six degree-of-freedom (6DOF) simulations using C++

• Support trade study analysis of algorithms, vehiclerequirementsand CONOPS

• Support flight testing activities for vehicle and algorithmdevelopment
  

• Support integration between company 6DOF and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)
  

• Other duties as assigned by the company

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing abachelors degree inAerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, orequivalent

• Understanding of Engineering and Math Fundamentals

• Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or C++.

• Eligible to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Secret security clearance(U.S. Citizenshiprequired)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previousprofessional or student team leadership experience relevant to the requirements for this position
