Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac diagnoses on the MS/Tele unit
- Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to arrhythmias
- Administer medications and IV therapy; perform phlebotomy and IV placement as competencies allow
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care
- Document care and vitals in the charting system; uphold isolation precautions and PPE usage
- Support basic patient care tasks with PCTs, including EKGs, vitals, glucose checks, and ADL assistance

Requirements
- NY RN license: active and in-hand to submit; pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS certification
- Not accepting local candidates within 75 miles of the assignment location
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status not specified
- Ability to work on a MS/Tele unit with cardiac focus and to float within scope as needed
