Receptionist

Part Time | Evenings (4pm - 8m) | Every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Pay rate of $16.50/hour

Responsibilities of a Receptionist:

  • Greet visitors and residents and a positive and helpful manner.
  • Answer telephone and direct calls/inquiries to appropriate department or individual.
  • Direct resident inquires to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Monitor the front entrance, manage intake of deliveries (light lifting required).
  • Sort out mail for staff and residents (including Grandview Gardens) and put in appropriate mail boxes or deliver as needed. Deliver daily newspapers to resident apartments.
  • Assist staff members with office duties such as fax, copies, mailing, special projects as needed such as assisting with preparation for resident activities, monthly newsletters and sending statements for Business Office Manager.
  • Distribute correspondence to employees such as paychecks and notices.
  • Lock file and supply cabinets at the end of each day and return keys to desk drawer.
  • Keep office shelves, counters, cabinets, and desk organized, neat and tidy.
  • Secure front entrance at end of shift.
  • Be a team member and willing to help various departments as needed; seek out work during down time on shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for a Receptionist:

  • A minimum requirement of being a Senior in High School.
  • Working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be polite, well groomed, professionally dressed, organized and have good follow through.
