Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support operations in a fast paced industrial machining environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and safe operation across the facility. The ideal candidate is hands on, mechanically inclined, and experienced working with heavy manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, manual machines, and facility equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose equipment issues

Repair and maintain industrial machinery including mills, lathes, grinders, and support equipment

Inspect machines and components to identify wear, damage, or potential failures

Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime

Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and equipment

Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and documentation of repairs

Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement efforts

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or machining environment

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Experience troubleshooting CNC machines and industrial production equipment

Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Experience with preventative maintenance programs

Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting CNC machining environments

Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and motor controls

Experience working with large industrial equipment and heavy machining operations
