SCOPE
This position will perform a wide range of duties in support of the Deposit Operations Department of the Bank, including but not limited to keeping records of financial transactions for the Bank by performing the below listed duties. This position is a service-minded, process-oriented individual who performs a wide range of duties that support the Bank’s products and services. The primary responsibility is to ensure all business and commercial banking treasury services are opened correctly and efficiently. This position will travel to assist with setting up Business Online Customers and other Raccoon Valley Bank locations and may office from time to time from our Grimes location.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Treasury Management: 50%
- Responds to and supports the small business and commercial treasury management accounts via phone and email.
- Reviews and approves daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) activity reports and director reports.
- Reviews and approves ACH (Automated Clearing House) daily activity/reports, OFAC/SCO/TCM/EBB director reports.
- Assists in preparing for the Annual ACH Audit.
- Implements new customers, processes customer change requests, and provides support for each of the Bank’s core products.
- Reviews and follows up on all onboarding clients to ensure seamless coordination between sales and implementation.
- Consistently maintains a high level of communication with business and commercial bankers, implementation staff and the client, managing clear expectations by establishing timelines, deliverables and milestones.
- Assists customers with successful utilization of all Bank deposit products, including but not limited to online banking, mobile banking, ACH Manager, and Remote Deposit Capture.
- Maintains working knowledge of all treasury management products and services.
Accounting Functions: 20%
- Handles Scanning/Indexing documents into Director.
- Manages daily account closed, dormant account reports, and maintains closed files.
- Serves as back up to monitor, detect, and respond to all fraud activity including but not limited to ATM/debit card, wire fraud, credit card, and check fraud.
- Submits and reviews daily wire activity. Performing verification of wires when necessary.
- Processes levies and subpoenas for the bank.
Daily Operations: 10%
- Opens and distributes accounting mail, follow-up with any problems (addresses) with mail. Back-up mail delivery to Post Office when necessary.
- Service as a back up to EIM Non-posts and return items.
- Assists with accounting record retention and destruction of records.
Customer Service: 10%
- Keeps abreast of current industry trends, regulatory issues, and overall economic environment. Cross-markets Bank’s products and services as appropriate.
- Reflects a positive image for the Bank by always exuding professional demeanor and contributing to community involvement.
Other: 10%
- As part of the overall team of Bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other Bank activities.
- Participates in various Bank committees and civic organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

EDUCATION AND PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Prefers a high school degree or equivalent. Three to five years’ accounting or deposit operations experience. This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communication skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.

Must be willing to work in excess of 40 hours per week and on some weekends as required.
