Position – Maintenance Assistant-Machine Shop

Job Location – New Berlin, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:00pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $18-$25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

-Examine machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments

-Perform preventative maintenance including adding oils, lubricants, cleaning filters, and more

-Keep area, department, tools, and machines clean/organized

-Use operation manuals and previous knowledge to assess and fix problems

Qualifications

-3 years of preventive and proactive industrial maintenance experience, preferred but not required

-3+ years of previous experience with CNC equipment repair and grinders such as Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, etc.

-General shop knowledge and basic hand tool experience

-Exceptional problem solver with a positive attitude
