To perform Role Player tasks and functions as required and as related to Vigilant Guard 23-3.
Reports directly to the Role Player Manger (RPM). Role Players portray mass casualty victims
during training exercises for the Wyoming Army National Guard. Role Players wear “Moulage”
(artificial triage/wound make-up). Role Players may be processed through a CERFP mission,
which entails: DECON station (they will get wet). Casualty scenarios include active shooter(s),
natural disaster(s), acts of war and weapons of mass destruction responses. Some wardrobe will
be provided (please note: articles of clothing may be cut or removed by the attending soldiers as
part of their training). Withstand long periods outdoors in the summer weather, able to lift and
carry 40 lbs. of weight. Trauma Patient Role Players portray accident victims with simulated
injuries during training scenario. A full body photograph will be required in order to demonstrate
injury status, to include variations of upper and lower extremities. Role Players take their
direction and perform their roles during training without breaking character. Role Players should
not have a fear of heights, dark, or enclosed spaces. Must undergo background checks through
eVerify, along with federal wants and warrants checks, in order to perform work. Must sign hold
harmless agreements. Liability is waived toward RTS and any and all government entities.
