Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massages to clients, helping them relax and alleviate pain or discomfort. Your expertise in patient service and assessment will be crucial in tailoring treatments to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with chiropractors and other healthcare providers to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform patient assessments to determine specific massage needs
- Provide therapeutic massages using various techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and Swedish massage
- Apply appropriate pressure and adjust techniques based on client preferences and comfort levels
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques and practices

Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience in providing therapeutic massages
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in patient assessment and developing personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in occupational health or acute pain management settings
