I’m in post production for “Dirty Rhetoric,” an ultra low budget indie feature film, and currently looking for an animator or animation team to help realize my vision for the opening credits.

The overall style echoes Saul Bass and will be choreographed to original music. The narrative for this opening will be workshopped with producers and animator(s). We have initial ideas, however collaboration is always welcomed! This piece will be the opening "front" credits for the film, an homage to retro films, similar to the opening of “Catch Me If You Can.” There will be no closing credits on the film - so it's all front loaded on this piece.

The idea is that it will be something more simple but really effective. A piece that has a "graphic" punch, movement, specific retro style but doesn't tell the whole story to come - something that gets people excited for what's to come.

We are negotiating - not set in stone, nor an offer - an honorarium of 1K for 3.5 minutes of animation delivered; animator's name on a single credit "card" at the beginning of the film and four passes of revisions...then when the film sells there would be an additional negotiated sum (TBD before the works starts). This can be a very effective portfolio piece.
