We are looking for an experienced oncologist providing safe and evidence-based administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, iron, antibiotics, and IV fluids in accordance with established protocols and Oncology Nursing Society guidelines. Reviews electronic and paper medical records to verify orders and ensure accurate medication delivery.
Performs comprehensive patient assessments, interprets laboratory results, and documents findings in approved electronic systems. Monitors for adverse reactions, implements timely interventions, and promptly communicates significant changes in patient condition to providers.
Develops and delivers individualized patient education plans, addresses patient concerns, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Provides age-appropriate care, supports patients with complex needs, and maintains adherence to infection control, ethical standards, and safety protocols, including care for COVID-19 positive and PUI patients.
