Forklift Mechanic

DIRECT HIRE
Pay: $28-35/hr
Shift: 1st- flexible hours
Area: Warrensville Heights, OH

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED required; technical school education (minimum two years) preferred.

-Six years of forklift maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-MHE 8-hour maintenance technician certificate from a recognized manufacturer (e.g., Crown, Raymond, Hyster).

-Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and combustion systems.

-Ability to read and interpret schematics.

-Strong communication and customer service skills.

-Technical degree, welding skills, and experience with forklift repair and diagnostic equipment preferred.

-Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair forklifts, including AC/DC electrical systems, motors, starters, contactors, relays, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, steering, wheels, and suspension.

-Test and repair systems using electrical meters and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

-Perform welding and electrical repairs
