Responsibilities

Clovis Community is a fast-paced, 78+ bed Emergency Department, caring for an average of 230 patients daily, ranging from moderate to high acuity. Our department includes a rapid assessment and special care unit, a red zone, and a centralized imaging department — all designed to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

  • Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a top-performing Emergency Department team.
  • Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development.

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.


Qualifications

  • RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
  • BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Certifications as required for the unit
