Coordinate Excellence in Pediatric Dental Education and Training

The Pediatric Dental Residency Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Compass Health Network, NYU Langone’s Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program, hospital partners, faculty, and community stakeholders. This role supports the daily operations, compliance, and educational coordination of the Pediatric Dental Residency Program, ensuring a seamless experience for residents while advancing high-quality pediatric dental care and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison between Compass Health Network, NYU Langone, hospital partners, faculty, and residency program stakeholders
  • Coordinate daily operations of the Pediatric Dental Residency Program, including schedules, rotations, call coverage, and academic calendars
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Director and residency leadership
  • Maintain resident files, evaluations, credentialing records, licensure tracking, and required documentation
  • Support accreditation, compliance, and reporting requirements (CODA, GME, and institutional standards)
  • Coordinate recruitment, interviews, onboarding, orientation, graduation, and match processes
  • Facilitate hospital access, credentialing, and collaboration with HR and GME offices
  • Coordinate didactic schedules, conferences, externships, and educational activities
  • Track resident competencies, procedure logs, evaluations, and scholarly activities
  • Communicate program requirements, policies, and deadlines to residents and faculty
  • Collaborate with hospital departments and internal/external partners to ensure smooth program operations
  • Assist with budget tracking, purchasing, and residency-related reporting


Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in an administrative position preferred
  • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
