Responsibilities

Fresno Heart & Surgical is a 57-bed specialty hospital known for excellence in cardiovascular and bariatric care. As an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Cardiovascular ICU, you’ll lead a close-knit team in a nine-bed unit caring for patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and bariatric surgeries — ranging from moderate to high acuity.

  • Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a high-performing CVICU team in one of California’s most focused surgical environments.
  • Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency.

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.


Qualifications

  • RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
  • BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Certifications as required for the unit
