Job Description:

Lead partnership marketing strategy and integrated go-to-market activations across Basketball and other key sports, driving athlete partnerships, brand storytelling, and cross-functional marketing initiatives that strengthen consumer engagement and commercial performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Lead partnership marketing strategy for Basketball and additional sports initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with athletes, agents, agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across product launches and seasonal initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Brand Marketing, Social, PR, eCommerce, Retail, and Sales teams.
  • Oversee creative development from concept through launch.
  • Identify new athlete, talent, and partnership opportunities.
  • Attend basketball events, tournaments, camps, and industry activations.
  • Manage partnership budgets, campaign timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Develop agency briefs for social, influencer, experiential, and integrated campaigns.
  • Support athlete content creation across digital, retail, social, PR, and eCommerce channels.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of two Partnership Marketing Managers.
  • Monitor sports, culture, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in sports marketing, partnership marketing, athlete marketing, or brand partnerships.
  • Strong expertise within Basketball and deep understanding of basketball culture.
  • Experience managing athlete, talent, or sports partnerships.
  • Proven experience creating partnership marketing plans and integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience leading and developing a marketing team.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, PR, Social, Digital, and Sales.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, Business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience outside of the footwear industry (consumer brands, sports organizations, agencies, etc.).
  • Existing network within professional, collegiate, or grassroots basketball.
  • Experience negotiating partnership agreements.
  • Background in influencer marketing or talent management.
  • Golf, soccer, or tennis marketing experience.
