Charles D. Sheehy supplies pipe, vales, and fittings to Mechanical Pros across New England. Currently, we are seeking a Driver to join our Fleet team. The ideal candidate will transport goods to customer locations while providing excellent customer service. If you're a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we provide the training and tools you need to succeed.

In this position, you'll work an early morning shift from 4:00am-12:30pm Monday through Friday (40 hours); this may alter due to work load. You'll report to the Distribution/Fleet Manager.

What Youll Do

• Safely deliver materials to customers at designated job sites.
• Efficiently prepare, load, and unload deliveries at each location.
• Retrieve customer returns and verify product accuracy for credit processing.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and refuel as needed to ensure operational readiness.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and standards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support warehouse operations and assist with tasks as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• Current 1C Hoisting License (not required we can help you obtain this)
• Minimum of 2 years of professional customer service experience
• Proven ability to maintain organized and accurate records
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening
• Clean driving record with a commitment to safe, courteous driving and adherence to all traffic laws
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Strong team player with a solid work ethic and reliability
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lb.
• Able to push/ pull up to 300lb.
