Room Attendant (Full-Time) - Petit Ermitage
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Petit Ermitage, a hotel known for its warmth, artistry, and personalized guest experience. As a Room Attendant, you play an essential role in creating the atmosphere our guests love, one of comfort, care, and understated luxury.
The ideal candidate is attentive, efficient, and takes genuine pride in creating a beautiful, welcoming environment. You will work closely with our housekeeping and front-of-house teams to ensure every room and space meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites according to Petit Ermitage luxury standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities, and maintain exceptional room presentation.
- Dust, vacuum, polish, sanitize, and thoroughly clean guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, quality, and readiness before releasing them for occupancy.
- Restock supplies and promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items.
- Create a welcoming guest experience that reflects the unique character and aesthetic of Petit Ermitage.
- Respond to guest requests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and equipment in a clean, organized condition.
- Follow safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and guest privacy procedures.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping team and other departments to ensure efficient daily operations and timely room readiness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous hotel, resort, or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting cleanliness and productivity standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including making beds, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and maneuvering housekeeping carts.
- Commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest care.
- Flexible scheduling availability, including weekends and holidays.
