Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years CATIA 5 - 3-axis and 5-axis programming.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years CATIA 5 - 3-axis and 5-axis programming plus mill-turn.
Provide N/C programs for fabrication of machined parts
Skills and Responsibilities
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 to program for 3 to 5 axis machines.
- Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming and compare results with original specifications.
- Efficiently program, test, and revise machine programming.
- Selects machine type (3 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation) and cutting tool requirements.
- Ability to meet a provided deadline on time.
- Able to work on a team and communicate effectively.
- Provide on machine support for program development.
- Performs other related duties as required.
